A THC Friendsgiving Menu From a Real Chef (With a Dosing Plan)

Friendsgiving is the one holiday meal where you pick the guest list and the rules. If your crew is 21+ and into edibles, an infused menu can be a great time. But a holiday table is also the easiest place to overdo it: big portions, seconds, drinks, and hours of grazing.

As a chef, here's how I'd run it. The secret isn't infusing everything. It's infusing the right things, keeping doses small, and making sure every guest knows exactly what they're eating.

The Host's Golden Rule

Every infused dish needs a THC-free twin. Same food, no infusion, on a separate, clearly labeled plate. That way your non-partaking friends eat freely, and your partaking friends can go back for seconds of the regular version without stacking doses.

The Menu

Welcome Drink: LITQUID Cranberry Spritz (infused)

Fill a glass with ice, a splash of cranberry juice, a squeeze of lime, and top with sparkling water. Add a measured pour of LITQUID Lemon Lime. One can split across four glasses works out to about a quarter of the can's dose per glass — for a 20mg can, that's roughly 5mg. Check your can's label and do the math for your pour.

Chef's note: Mix each glass individually instead of making a pitcher. Pitchers make dosing impossible to track.

Appetizer: Hot Chip-Crusted Mac & Cheese Bites (infused)

Bake your favorite mac and cheese in a mini muffin tin until set. Crush Lit Chips (Burnin Hot Cheese Crunches are perfect here) and press a measured pinch onto each bite after they come out of the oven, while the cheese is still warm and tacky. Adding the chips after baking keeps you from cooking the infused product and gives you a better crunch.

Dose math: take the THC in the amount of chips you crushed and divide by the number of bites. Keep these on their own labeled tray.

Main: Roast Turkey with THC BBQ Glaze on the Side (infused, optional)

Roast the turkey plain. Warm Chef Matt's THC BBQ sauce gently and serve it in a small labeled bowl with a measuring spoon. Guests add their own. Check the label for THC per tablespoon so everyone knows what a spoonful means.

Chef's note: Never glaze the whole bird with infused sauce. Then nobody can eat turkey without dosing.

Sides: Green Beans, Stuffing, Mashed Potatoes (THC-free)

Keep the sides classic and uninfused. They're what people go back for again and again, so they should be the safe zone.

Dessert: Pumpkin Spice Cereal Treat Bars (infused)

Follow the no-bake method from my THC cereal recipes, then stir 1 teaspoon of pumpkin pie spice into the melted marshmallow before folding in the cereal. Cut the pan into the number of pieces that matches your target dose per bar.

The host's dosing plan for a THC Friendsgiving

The Host's Dosing Plan

  1. Pick a total. Aim for 5–10mg per guest across the whole meal. Less for newcomers.
  2. Cap the picks. Each guest chooses one or two infused items, not all four.
  3. Label everything. Separate trays, clear signs with milligrams per piece or per spoon.
  4. Offer THC-free versions. Same dishes, no infusion.
  5. Pace it. Wait at least 45 minutes before any second infused serving. Food slows things down, so a big meal can delay how fast you feel it.

Hosting Responsibly

  • Adults 21+ only at an infused table.
  • Plan rides home. Nobody drives after an infused meal.
  • Go easy on alcohol alongside THC.
  • Pack leftovers labeled, and store infused items away from kids and pets.
  • If someone feels too high, here's what to do right away.

Stock Your Friendsgiving Pantry

Everything on this menu comes from the Chef Matt lineup: LITQUID drinks, Lit Chips, THC BBQ sauce, and Lit cereal. With the federal hemp THC changes arriving December 11, Friendsgiving may be the last big holiday to cook with them. Order early so everything arrives before your party.

Ganja Eats products contain hemp-derived Delta-9 THC and are intended for adults 21+. Start low, go slow, and do not drive or operate machinery after consuming.
